Springfield Homicide suspect arrested
At approximately 8:18 P.M. on Monday, September 10, 2018, Springfield Police Officers responded to 2550 W. Mill after a 911 caller stated a male subject had been shot at that location.
Springfield, Mo --On Monday, September 10 Springfield Police Officers responded to 2550 W. Mill after a 911 caller stated a male subject had been shot.
When officers arrived, they found a male victim outside the residence with an apparent gunshot wound.
Anthony A. Correa, 27, was transported by paramedics to Mercy Hospital and later died from his injuries. Investigators with the Criminal Investigations Section began a homicide investigation and processed the scene for evidence.
The suspect was identified as Lucky L. Davis, a 33-year-old male from Springfield. On Wednesday, September 12, Davis was arrested.
Davis was charged second-degree murder, armed criminal action, and two counts of unlawful use of a weapon.
He is currently being held in the Greene County Jail with a bond of $500,000.00.
