Farmington couple charged for locking kids inside small boxes

Farmington, Mo - Two people in Farmington have been arrested in connection to a suspected child abuse case.

Daryl Head, 38, and Laura Cheatham, 38, are accused of keeping four children inside small windowless boxes.

When Sheriff's Deputies entered the residence, they found three girls and a boy in a small room.

The children were confined in boxes, locked with plywood. Their ages ranging from six to twelve.

The couple has been charged with four counts of endangering the welfare of a child and four counts of kidnapping.

They are being held on $500,000 bond each.
