Springfield massage therapist convicted for sexual misconduct
A massage therapist was convicted for inappropriately touching two women.
Springfield, Mo. – A massage therapist was convicted for inappropriately touching two women.
The Greene County Prosecuting Office, announced William Gene Morlang, 36, was convicted Monday by a Greene County Jury for touching the private areas of two of his clients and rubbing his genitals against the hand of one of his clients.
Morlang was found guilty of two counts of Sodomy, and one count of Sexual Abuse.
Four women who were victimized by Morlang testified at trial. All four testified the defendant waited until they were in a facedown position before he began his inappropriate touching. Each woman stated they were scared and initially didn’t know what to do because they were alone in the room with Morlang when this happened.
Morlang is subject to a sentence of two to seven years on each sodomy count, and up to one year on the sexual abuse count.
The sentencing hearing is set for October 19, 2018.
