Two men charged for Battlefield Mall robbery
Two men have been charged for robbing a jewelry store inside the Battlefield Mall.
SPRINGFIELD, Mo - Two men have been charged for robbing a jewelry store inside the Battlefield Mall.
31-year-old Jamele Nolden and 25-year-old Curtis Hicks are facing charges of first degree robbery for stealing nearly $700,000 in jewelry from Zales on June 19.
Both men are also suspects in robberies in other states.
Springfield police officers were dispatched to Zales inside of the Battlefield Mall, 2825 S. Glenstone, at approximately 8:19 p.m. on June 19 for the robbery.
The two males came into the store and demanded jewelry from two female employees and claimed to have a gun, but did not display a weapon.
No customers were in the store at the time, and no one was injured.
