Durango, Mexico - An Aeromexico plane has crashed shortly after takeoff in Durango, Mexico, with reports of 80 people on board.
No one was killed in the accident, Gov. José R. Aispuro announced on Twitter. A Mexican official said that 37 people suffered slight injuries.
Eyewitnesses said the plane appeared to crash five minutes after takeoff from Guadelupe Victoria airport.The incident involved Flight 2431. The Embraer E-190 aircraft, with a capacity for 100 passengers, had departed from Durango en route to Mexico City at approximately 3:09pm.
