UPDATE: Teen drowning victim identified
Troopers are investigating a report of a missing 13-year-old boy in Lake of the Ozarks.
UPDATE #2: The Missouri State Highway Patrol has identified the drowning victim as 13 year old Eric Dietrich. Authorities believe Dietrich had a medical condition and did not resurface after jumping into the water.
UPDATE: The young boy was recovered by divers from Osage Beach Fire & Mid-County Fire.

Lake Of The Ozarks - Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers are investigating a report of a missing 13 -year-old boy on Lake of the Ozarks, at the 21 mile-marker of Salt Hollow Cove.
The call was received at 4:08 p.m. Information indicates the boy jumped into the water to swim from an anchored boat, but did not resurface.
There is an ongoing search, and a dive team on the scene.
