Ozark, Mo. -- (2/26/2018) Ozark School District alerted the public on Facebook of a threat made Monday morning at Ozark Junior High School.
The threat was immediately reported to Ozark staff and investigated by administrators and school police and was reported to Juvenile authorities. The threat was determined not credible. This incident was taken seriously and handled according to school policies and procedures.
School officials say safety is a top priority and want to reassure the public that the threat was not credible and no one was at risk. The District wants to thank the student who reported the incident and wants to remind all students that “if you hear something, say something.”
