Springfield, Mo. -- (2/21/2018) Missouri State University’s Office of Student Conduct remains in the investigative stage after receiving an incident report from the Phi Delta Theta National Headquarters.

The allegations in the report involve hazing and alcohol policy violations that reportedly occurred during the Chapter’s initiation of new members ceremony in January.

Police and fire officials were not involved in the incident and no physical injuries were reported. As the Chapter no longer exists at MSU, the Office of Student Conduct is currently following up with individual students identified in the investigative process alleged to have violated the University’s code of student rights and responsibilities.

Due to federal privacy regulations regarding individual educational records, the University will not provide comment on individual student conduct cases.
