SPRINGFIELD, MO (01/17/18) - Marcie Bowling with Watching Over Whiskers is introducing us to two kittens with two very different personalities named Cocoa and Chance.

Cocoa, she is a domestic short hair and she is a tortes shell and chance is a domestic short hair and he's just a good all American Tabby. Chance is Mr. Happy-Go-Lucky. Very outgoing and loves everybody and gets along with other animals. His thing is that he has a condition that mimics diabetes. So he will probably always have to have a shot of insulin. It would be really cool if someone out there had a child with diabetes that understood the timing on how this works and that their child can identify with them. It would be awesome experience and keep him healthy.

Cocoa here is absolutely very sweet, clingy, shy girl. I think part of that might be her natural personality and part of it might have been from the dramatic experience she had. So, Cocoa we found around Thanksgiving hanging upside down from someones fence.

Both of them are totally fine with children. Cocoa is going to be more nervous and shy so she may do better in a home that's more quiet. But Chance is a lover of everyone and everything.

Chance and Cocoa are looking for their forever home today. If you'd like to adopt them, go to http://www.watchingoverwhiskers.org/.
