Attempted Armed Robbery reported in Osage Beach

UPDATE: At approximately 6:30 p.m. today, the subject was taken into custody by Osage Beach Officers with the assistance of the Missouri State Highway Patrol and Camden County Sheriff’s Office.

Osage Beach, Mo (12/5/17)– At approximately 11:45 a.m. today, Officers responded to a McDonald’s restaurant, located at 6033 Osage Beach Parkway, in reference to an Attempted Armed Robbery.

Upon arrival, Officers were informed a male subject, driving a red in color 2000 Chevrolet Tracker pulled into the drive thru and placed an order. He proceeded to the first window to pay for the order and after paying for the order he brandished a handgun and demanded currency from the cashier. The cashier shut the window and walked away, the subject drove off.

The individual was described as a white, male, approximately 200 lbs. with a shaved head, wearing a light blue stocking cap, dark jacket and light-colored t-shirt.

Officers located the suspect's vehicle at another location outside the City limits of Osage Beach.

No one was injured during the robbery.
