Armed robbery reported in Rolla

Rolla, Mo - (11/13/17) On 11/13/2017 at approximately 3:52 a.m. officers from the Rolla Police Department responded to the Quality Inn motel at 1507 Martin Springs Drive, Rolla, Missouri for an armed robbery.

Upon arrival, it was discovered that a black male entered the motel, brandished ahandgun and demanded money. At the time of the robbery, there was no cash inside the register.

The suspect is described as a black male, 5’10” – 6’0” tall, 160–170 pounds. His hair is cut very short. The suspect also has a horizontal scar approximately one inch across on the back of his head.

The suspect was driving a newer, white Dodge Challenger with a rallye hood, and five spoke wheels. There was no license plate on the front of the vehicle. It is unknown if there was a license plate on the back. It is believed the suspect fled the scene and began traveling east on Interstate 44 (I-44).

This individual should be considered ARMED AND DANGEROUS! Exercise extreme caution if contact is made.
