SPRINGFIELD, MO (10-10-17) - More information continues to come in. The Greene County Sheriff’s Office confirmed earlier today that they believe they have found the gun that was used to kill 28-year-old Tyler Rambo.

A drive-by shooting over the weekend at the Dayton Mobile Home Park is, now, believed to be drug and gang related.

“We know that, what appears to be methamphetamine, is one of the drugs that are involved," says The Greene County Sheriff Jim Arnott.

Dameon Clinghan was charged with first-degree murder, among other charges. He stated that he, “Killed Tyler, but Tyler deserved more what he got…and would be able to sleep at night.”

Three witnesses, including two children, described the vehicle Clinghan shot from as a green colored Sedan that was being driven by a female.

Arnott says, "The suspect vehicle was, also, recovered on west Republic Road.”

Sheriff Arnott says they have interviewed at least 11 people that are connected with the crime that are frequently seen at the Old Monterey Apartments.

After issuing a search warrant, the making of bomb fragments were found among other things. “We recovered items of interest in our investigation," says Arnott.

There is speculation that Rambo was a gang member but Sheriff Arnott could not confirm this. The Dayton Mobile Home Park is in the counties busiest district with a high crime rate. We will continue to bring you more information as it becomes available.
