THEODOSIA, MO. (8/10/17) - New details emerged Thursday in the missing child case of 16-year-old Savannah Leckie.
Authorities executed a search warrant on Leckie’s biological mother, Rebecca Ruud, property in Theodosia, Missouri after finding burned human remains there Friday, Aug. 4.
During the search, authorities found boxes of bone fragments, 26 bottles of lye, and a meat grinder among other things.
The Ozark County Times confirmed Thursday that Rebecca Ruud and her live-in boyfriend, Robert Peat Jr. were married Friday, Aug. 4., the same day the human remains were found on Ruud's property.
Both Ruud and Peat have been listed as suspects in the teen's disappearance. Authorities are waiting on DNA results to see who the human remains belong to. No charges have been filed at this time.
