Vereen Relinquishes Commandancy of MP School; Martin to be Next Commandant

SPRINGFIELD, Mo.--(07/14/2017) Brig. Gen. Kevin Vereen is slated to relinquish commandancy of the U.S. Army Military Police School in a ceremony scheduled at 9 a.m., Friday on the Maneuver Support Center of Excellence Plaza here.

Brig. Gen. Donna Martin, currently the U.S. Army Recruiting Command deputy commanding general at Fort Knox, Kentucky, will replace Vereen as the USAMPS commandant.

Vereen will head to Fort Knox as the USAREC deputy commanding general of operations. Martin has held numerous leadership positions and served in Operations Desert Shield/Desert Storm, Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom.
