Taney County, MO -- (05/18/2017) A Taney County man was found guilty of enticement of a child, attempted sodomy in the first degree, and two counts of sexual misconduct with a child by indecent exposure.

The Taney County Prosecutor's office presented evidence that Ronald McLemore, 60, was babysitting his girlfriends young granddaughters. The two young girls disclosed that he lured them into his bedroom and proceeded with inappropriate conduct.

The ten-woman, two man jury deliberated for over one-and-a-half hours before delivering its verdict.

The charges for enticement of a child and attempted sodomy in the first degree are each unclassified felonies carrying a maximum penalty of up to 30 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections. Sexual misconduct with a child by indecent exposure is a class D felony carrying a maximum penalty of 4 years and/or a $5,000.00 fine.
