SPRINGFIELD, MO (04/20/17) - Kallie Campbell with Rescue One is introducing us to this months Fur Kids, Clyde.
He is a mountain cur mix. Campbell says it's like a hunting breed dog. She says, "They hunt small game like a rabbit and things like that."
His family was going to move and was unable to take him with them. So they went ahead and adopted out his sister Bonnie, separately. And Clyde ended up coming to Rescue One. So he's just kind of adjusting to a new family without his sister.
Campbell says, "He's a pretty easy going guy. He's quite in the house. He's great in a crate and good with other dogs. He even doesn't mind cats."
Clyde can be playful. Especially, when it comes to his rope toys.
And the best part, he's good with kids! Campbell says, "We've had him around kids ages 6 and up."
He really just likes to hang out, too. She says he likes to sleep on the couch, but loves to go for a run.
Campbell says, "I think he would be fine in any type of home. He just needs one that's active. He really likes to get that exercise. But, he will also just stay and be a cuddle bug too."
